I was thinking this was a big mistake of a song, then the whole livin with my moms and I bake cookies Yo had me laughing and realized it was a great parody... especially since it's exploiting the fact that T-pain was a "Rapper turned singer" here is Taylor swift as a Country/pop singer turned rapper. The irony and her "Tight white-T" and T-Pain's "Big Arse Chain" was just hilarious. The crazy thing is she probably could pull off a little soft rap cause she was OK.
I mean personally there aren't too many female rappers that don't naturally sound like T-Swizzle anyway even when they are trying to be serious and hard. Most remind me of the "Cars That Go Boom" song. They sound ultra corny and really sound dated when they rap, with the exception of a few great female rappers like Missy Elliot, Rah Digga, Lil Kim, Foxy Brown, MC Lite, Queen Latifa, Lauryn Hill and a few others that is. But most females sound like 8 year old kids when they rap which makes it harder to take their lyrics seriously. That's basically what was going on here which made it even funnier that she was talking about this is a "thug story"... and "I Bake Cookies Yo" LOL

Screw the haters, this video is hilarious. I'm Puerto Rican, I grew up with all kinds of different races in New York and I don't find this offensive it's basically just Taylor Swift having fun poking fun at herself. It's actually kind of like a dream she's having of herself as a Gangsta Rap star. Then she wakes up and poof she's still a singer LOL.
What makes it funny is that it's done professionally, good quality studio work, so it looks like they are serious and the music sounds like it's supposed to be serious but it's actually just a spoof. Sort of like Weird Al Yankovich making spoof videos of famous singers. The most famous of course being Michael Jackson R.I.P.
:( Now I'm sad again. Better watch the video a few times to raise my morale.
